Before leaving your pet with a boarding establishment, get to know both the premises and the owners. Stop by for a chat and a look around. Ask questions. Are toys and bedding welcome? Will my pet be able to have the food he is used to? Do all animals have individual bed and exercise areas? Talk about safety features. Don't be afraid to discuss any concerns that you may have about leaving your pet.
